The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     brightness doesn't change (stuck) on SZ

    hey,
    i have the sz360.
    i format the hd and installed a fresh copy of xp.
    also i install all the drivers.

    the bug is, when i am using the 7400 gpu, the brightness doesn't change (the GUI of it simply don't move). if i am using the intel video card, it works perfectly.

    does anyone have any idea why?
    btw, i installed the 84.25 drivers for the 7400
