i saw that they do not ship overseas but I really want to buy a SZ over the USA site. It only costs $2000+ as compared to £2000+ in the UK... and it is customizable as well. That is twice the price which is ridiculous. Is there anyway I can get around it?

    Thanks. Could any one help?

You'd have to find someone in the US willing to help you. I could have sworn someone posted about a service that does this, but it's going to cost you.

Ask someone you know who'll be coming back from the US to do it in person to avoid any hassle... and to "smuggle" it as luggage, without taxes. That's precisely how I'm getting mine.

If you don't have anyone, there are all those services that offer fake US addresses for remailing, but they cost so much (and you'll probably have to pay the duty) that it may be pointless to use them.

And yeah, the prices in England seem insane, hah... The salaries are probably all high, but still... :) Most DVDs cost twice as much as the equivalent releases here, and my friend has lived there for about two years but comes back regularly to visit the dentist, because he'd have to pay 5 times the price in the UK... :D

    lol.. the dentist.

i am in a dilema now.. should i get it here or should i use a US address. I have a friend who is gong USA in the summer but that might mean I have to wait for months and I really want a new laptop before then even though it is going to cost a lot more by getting it earlier. :(

It is not even going to be released any time soon.

    The UK site offers:

Do you think it is worth it? It is already in my shopping basket but I am still not sure if I really should get it or not. I was almost getting the TX one but pulled out last minute.

I was looking on the UK site yesterday. Have you seen the price of that fully loaded puppy? WAY more than the US model.
