    hy guyz,
    as my os is windows 8 and i need to install windows 7 for my project urgently... as i tried ma level best, but i couldn't do so.. :( if i enter through bios the message is "operating system is not found" and i could not enter through the other way... can anyone plz help me in solving ma problem.... plz plz plz... itz urgent....

    It is not easy to install Windows 7 on a computer designed for Windows 8. There are issues with the BIOS and drivers for certain hardware. Look for threads with the keyword downgrade.

    Are you unable to run your project on Windows 8? The compatibility modes are quite good, as is the compatibility troubleshooter.

    What are the resource requirements of the project for which you need Windows 7? If they are not too much, and if you have Windows 8 pro or better, you could try running Windows 7 in a virtual machine. You'll need to enable the hyper-v role in add remove windows components, and then create a virtual machine and install Windows 7 on that.

    Change Booting from UEFI to legacy and have fun. Unfortunately Sony don't have win 7 compatibility for all functions on keyboard. so Expect Fn keys not to work.
