I'm am looking for a sony sz and am not sure if i should do the 120 or 160. Should I get the cf or the non-cf or something else? I have a line through compusa and will probaby use it for my next purchase. I have a s560 and might sell it or might not... thanks in advance...

The 160 is slightly thinner, slightly lighter, has the CF case, and a little better LCD. Find a store that has a 120 and if you like the LCD a lot, get it. If you need a little better LCD, get the 160. I haven't seen the CF case yet, so I can't attest to how appealing it is.

I dont recommend it. But if you have another 400$ to spend...then go for it.

OK, when the time is right I'll go to the store and check it out. The last time the guy kept trying to sell me insurance... And kept forgetting to bring the laptop to the cashier.. And the women i spoke to at the sony store over the phone said do the 160 but I'll see. I was thinking acer ferrari instead but I heard about bad hd's so... One of my friends has one and loves it but even though I don't have love for compusa if they don't carry it that makes me wonder... there is a sale at walmart but don't have a credit line there.
I can also re-open a dell line if it comes down to it...

My suggestion... for the price of what you would pay for the 160 (which you obviously are considering) I would get the 120P and get the service plan... Be about the same, but you at least have some protection, including Battery replacement and screen protection... That's what i did... I recently dropped 2gb of PNY ram in and couldn't be happier. With the size of the unit and the fact this is not an "entry" level notebook, I would rather have the piece of mind of service since i do travel quite a bit and want to be safer than not...
