    cant safely eject HDD from FW160 (please help!!!)

    its never ever let me safely eject my external HD (WD my passport) from my vaio. it just stalls for 10 seconds and tells me i cant do it cause its in use
    ive hooked it up to a desktop several times, and each time i done it on that its worked flawlessly, not even taking a second. whats up with my vaio?!

    It seems some programs on Windows are hooked up your HDD. Try to close all programs.

    the thing is, my FW has 70+ processes running... i dont know what all of them do, and its probably one of those thats using it. all that bloatware is a pain.
