    i'm having problems capturing video with my NB.
    i can't connect VCR with my NB using composite cabel.
    any suggestions or guide?

    I think they make like PCMCIA or RCA to USB connectors, but they are kinda pricey.

    i have dock station already. but when i try to connect VCR to NB there's no new device detected by Win.

    How are you connecting the VCR? Is it on? Do you have capture software?

    somehow i have managed to capture the picture on my NB but the picture is not good at all (i know VHS is kinda crap). i get different quailty with different software (dscaler, VirtualDub). i'll have to spend more time around that connection...

    What kind of movies are they? Cause if they are store bought one you may be running into Macrovision issues.
