Hi guys, I need some help on this. Is there anyway I can perform a clean installation of XP without CD-Rom? like connecting to another laptopt? or external Hard drive? I don't wanna spend extra money for external cd-rom. :(

If you have a UX280P and did not delete the restore partition, then you can run VAIO recovery tools and restore the drive C: to original state as if purchased new. This is the easiest way esp. for those UX's since they have no optical drive and are quirky about which drives are bootable. Check out www.micropctalk.com which is a forum dedicated to the SONY UX series. They have a lot of info there as I used to be a UX owner.
