I have noticed these problems with my SZ450 preloaded with vista

    1) sometimes finger print reader on the log in screen says "please connect" and its does not work
    2) sometimes wifi does not connect
    3) when playing a song it takes at least 4 sec to play in windows media player
    4) Wifi signal never displayed more than 60% even when close by router!
    5) Screen flickers when windows log in to desktop.

Any 450 owner experience these problems?

I experienced 2, 4, and 5 so far, not the others (fingerprint working fine, WMP running ok)

I have also noticed the fan is almost always running, and my RAM never goes below 38%, but we all know Vista is quite the resource hog.

By far the most irritating thing is Vista's security, especially the User Access Control feature, and always having to confirm that I am the administrator. Just to move a file to a different folder on my external HD I had to go through 3 different confirmations.

Besides that everything's been running great so far, and I'm just loving the screen :D

So basicaly all these things happens because of windows vista? not from hardware itself?
yeah these confirmation pop crap is annoying I hate when that happens, besides its been a long time since they released a windows update for vista
