    hi! i'm new here i just got an old PCG-K415B laptop from a relative i would like to know what's the largest hard drive capacity i can put in it co'z the stock 40gb just is'nt enough? and can this laptop support 2x512mb ddr400 or ddr333 sodimms? thanks! :)

    Hard Drive:
    You can use any 2.5" IDE drive. Look at Newegg or any computer store for a notebook (2.5") IDE drive and you'll find a few.

    Memory:
    Quick Google search came up with this.
    Basically you can take up to 2x512MB PC2100 ram which is actually clocked at 266MHz.

    You're looking at about $70 for the two 512MB sticks (total) and a quick ebay search says about $60-90 for an IDE hard drive ranging from 80 to 160GB.

    thanks! but do you think this laptop can support a 120gb hard drive? i cant find any info in sony's support site regarding the maximum capacity it can support.
