if your TV has a VGA port like my VIZIO 32'', you can connect using a VGA cable.
you can get one at cablestogo.com http://www.cablestogo.com/categories.asp?cat_id=3400 or google it.
you can also buy a (headphone jack) audio cable that connects your TV and Notebook provided your TV has an audio in.
u can also buy vga/audio cable combined.

What surefire said (connect it thru the blue vga connection) or thru an s-video cable which all TVs should have, but not all laptops have.

But how do you get sound?

My SZ340P doesn't have an output for sound..I don't think.

What I do is I connect to the TV with a vga cable, and either use the laptop speakers, or plug a set of speakers into the laptop and play the sounds thru them.

And all laptops made in the past 10+ years have a sound output. It's usually a green port, with a headphone sign by it.

As far as I can see..the SZ has no sound output.

edit: wait...maybe I can output the sound from the headphone jack.
