    Hi folks,
I have for the most part done a successful clean install on my cr220e of vista from a standard vista installation dvd using the key on the bottom of the laptop (I did have to get on the phone with Microsoft and have them activate it because it wouldn't properly activate via the net).
Anyhow, I have just about everything working, FN keys all work properly, etc., however I don't seem to have or be able to find "Vaio Central" which is were I can switch off the annoying flashing light on the front of the machine. I have "Vaio Control Center" but I don't see any reference in there to the LED settings. Anyone know how I can either get "VAio Central" installed or an alternate way to switch off the LED's?
    Thanks,
    -MIke

Vaio central cannot be installed after a clean install. But vaio control center has everything that controls my FZ.

I have installed VAio Control Center and have been through it pretty thoroughly and find nothing that would appear to control the LED's.
