hey guys, i'm planning on creating a recovery kit this weekend. i read the readme in the recovery utility and i'm still uncertain of what to do exactly.

    can anyone give me tips?

also, i've had my notebook for a few weeks now, when it makes a recovery kit and i use it will it revert to my current settings or to the one i had when i first got it?

after doing this, will it be safe to remove the partition with the recovery tools? i've read that there some trouble with using the discs. i'm not sure i can do the reinstallation/ reformatting myself (in the off chance i'd need it - hopefully never) so i would like to keep the partition if it's less of a hassle.
