    default setting problem

    The system default setting of the adjust plan brightness is DC 40% and AC 100%,
    now when unplug it 40% on DC mode, then plug in AC, found LCD brightness have not change to 100%, still keep with 40%. Reboot one unit with 3 cycles on DC mode; also duplicate this phenomenon after plug in AC adapter.

    (the default brightness on AC always change from 100% to 40% ) any one face this problem ??

    VGN-sr129 with Win7 home 32 bit (US model)

    and I have the same problem with VGN-fw55mf with win7 home 64 bit ( Asia model)

    Have you tried saving the settings in Vaio Control Center in the control panel?

    Yup ! but the defuault setting always change after reboot on DC mode

    Ok, have you tried updating the Sony Notebook apps, or just re-installing them. Those are the source of the computer not saving your changes to the power plans.
