Hi all,
This is a question to teh CTO SA owners.
I was wondering on how long the time was from the moment of ordering and the moment of delivery.
I`m asking because I have a tight schedule. I ordered in a different country than where I stay mainly. I had problems contacting Sony but finally came through.
I will leave the country where my Vaio will be deliverd in 2 weeks.
I ordered today.
On Sony NL it says it takes between 2 - 3 weeks
On Sony UK it says it takes between 1 - 2 weeks
Altough they came from the same factory...
This 1 week is kinda crucial for me...

In US, my SA ship date stated 6/20 and that's the day I received it, which means I received it earlier than expected.
-
Same, my ship date is 7/7 and it looks like it's on track to be delivered to me tomorrow.
-
where do you have an exact date from? In my confirmation email it just says in 2 to 3 weeks

When Sony ships the laptop to you, via Fed ex, on the tracking it shows the date it was shipped and the estimated date and time for delivery. I ordered my series f computer June 24th and it was shipped July 4th with a scheduled delivery date of July 7th, tomorrow. As of the tracking info from Fed Ex, it is on time to be delivered tomorrow morning. Not sure if this is the same in other countries, as I live in the U.S.
You might get it faster as I think mine was delayed a little by the 4th of July holiday in the U.S.. They also charge your credit card or however you paid, when they get ready to ship. I was charged June 29th, but it wasn't shipped until July 4th. They come from China so there is no 4th of July holiday there. -
thanks for sharing people
I received an email this night (in Europe) that my Vaio went into production and estimated time of sending is between 15th and 20th of July.
I hope it will be 15th and eveything will be ok
delivery time SA
