If you're in the US I'm guessing you had that one imported or are in Japan. Either way I can't read the support page in Japanese. But the drivers you need for the AV mode/FN keys are going to be the Sony Shared Library, Sony Notebook Utilities, and the Sony Firmware Parser Device Driver if applicable. As well as the OEM Sony drivers for the NVIDIA graphics, for brightness control tie-in with Vaio Event Service.

What XGX2007 is right, those are the things you need and the sequence in which you install them is important. I am pretty sure the sequence list is the correct one as well.

And thanks for starting a separate thread for this!

Thank you for the help where can i get these drivers for windows xp and for windows vista , i am asking this question because i tryed to install those one from the support page of different us model that seems to have the same hardware as mine , and every time i try to insrall it says thus software us not applicable to your model perhaps i need generic driver or open driver for these Av mode and FN key
its really bad that you cant change brightness, sound or other cool things from the keyboard directly with FN
btw i tryed xp pro ,vista and now i am on seven if i find any driver that works on any system i'll re install it again

It is all there. The firmware parser is Sony Notebook Controler Driver and the PI driver. If you haven't installed those already you will need to do so manually in the device manager.

I thought you were looking for XP drivers so i linked to those. The Vista drivers should be good for W7 and you can get those from the TX5 download page.

rachel what can i say ...
    I LOVE YOU THAAAANK YOUUUUU
hell you are smart you saved me :D now almost everything works at least the fn key works great and thats awesome the av mode keys ( the eject key works but the driver dont eject i mean i can read eject on the screen but the driver dont eject) i have some problems with the blutooth also i think i'll just reinstall it to fix it
by the way what those keys (AV mode, play, stop, forward backward, eject do exactly ) because i can read in the screen but nothing is done wierd ..
and also when i close my computer ,normaly it goes into sleep mode but here i got the blue screen of death (its written that the HSX_CNXT.sys got wrong adress or something ) :p , so i'll reinstall the win xp again and try one driver by one .
also some of the files are missing from the folder driver and utilities
