For those coming to this thread this is the continuation of a discussion that was in a totally unrelated thread. As background Pubi didn't make the recovery dvd's and started a clean install and is now unable to find everything needed to complete that clean install. Enough background...
Pubi,
If the hidden portion is still intact there is hope yet for you. Run the Disk Management utility and see if you have something similar to the items highlighted in red in the enclosed picture.

OK! How far along in the "clean install" process are you? If not very far and are willing to start over you can just skip step one below.
1. Get a copy of Acronis or another drive image app. Then use that app to create a BOOTABLE CD with the app on it. Boot from that CD and use the app to image your existing C: partition to a set of DVD's. (Note I said THE C: PARTITION not the entire drive.) Set the bootable CD and these DVD 's aside for latter.
2. Power of and then back on and IMMEDIATELY hit the F10 key. This will boot the machine from the recovery partition. Look at the options you are given. I believe SOME models will let you make the DVD set right here at this menu. On other models no such option is given. If no such option is there, there will be one to restore the c: partition to the out of the box state. Do that. This will wipe out the clean install you started, of course.
3. Now with the machine back in the out of the box state, you can make the recovery dvd's. Do that. After that process is complete, place the first of these DVD's in the drive and see if autostart brings up a menu. (It should.) This is just a test to make sure the first disk will let you see the menu's. One of the menu options is to restore applications and drivers. See it it works. If so we are almost done.
4. Set the recovery DVD's aside. Now either restore the image you created in step one. Use the bootable CD to start the process, and restore the C: partition back to it's prior state. Or if you decided to skip step one, restart your clean install process.
5. Once the OS is running, place the first of the disk of the DVD recovery set in and let autostart bring up the menu's. You should be able to navigate through them to the option that displays a tab of applications and another of drivers (and also the libraries and auxiliary apps the drivers need). BE CAREFUL THE SEQUENCE IS VERY IMPORTANT. If you don't know the correct sequence, consult one of the clean install guides here for your model.
If you have questions, ask BEFORE you start this time. OK? ...big ol' grin...

Ok, i have two questions. I done that yesterday, because i hope, i will found c:\drivers and c:\utilities, if i bring up computer from recovery partitions. When i saw, that folders don't exists, i take a quick look over programs, if maybe one of them give me the option to make recovery DVD, but i didn't found it.
So, with which program do i make those recovery DVDs?
And, when i make those DVDs, will i be able to do clean install of SONY VAIO utillities(click ot disc, etc..)? -

Remember, the sequence in which you install this stuff is VERY important.

Hello,
a have made recovery DVD's. Now i'm having problems with installation of drivers and utill. I always get an error 505 an then -1. Is problem in windows 7? Do i have to do a new install of windows and start from begining, because when i have installed win7 i also install some of needed drivers? -
What error? Where? What did you install?
I got everything working in my FZ-190E with Windows 7 64-bit, except the "S" button and Wireless Switch setting utility. -

Not sure what error 505 or -1 even is. Do you get any text with those? I have not tried Win7 yet, but know for sure that others have gotten it to work just fine. What model VAIO do you have? You need to search the forums for a WIN7 install guide for your specific model.
Some times the installers are picky about what version of windows they wil run under. However there is a trick (again you need to search the forums for the specifics) where you stop the installation process and move some files out of a temporary folder and then use those to proceed with the driver installation. But you REALLY need to look up the specifics of that. I'd start with the search for a clean install guide of Win7 for your specific model, and proceed from there. At this point you are on your own, as I have ZERO experience with Win7. I am sure if you find a clean install thread for your model others can give you some help.
Good luck.
