BD's use a different laser than standard DVD's - if you look in your drive, you'll see 2 different lasers instead of one. Try cleaning them GENTLY with either a standard cleaning disk or a microfiber cloth and monitor solution (Monster's is the best formula I've found). Even though I don't like their cables and other stuff, their monitor solution is one of the best around. Never use alcohol unless it's Grain - anything else leaves a residue. Believe it or not many Aerospace contractors have liquor licenses specifically to be able to buy and use large quantities of Grain Alcohol, because it doesn't leave a residue.

Blow it out first with air, though and then try it before anything else.
