can anyone who owns the s-series laptop tell me the manufacturer and model number of the dvd-rw burner drive that comes with the laptop? i just wanted to find out about the exact specs (ie. formats supported and their write speed) so that i can determine whether or not i should just buy a separate external dvd burner and order the laptop with the cd-rw/dvd drive (which is $200 cheaper)...

one main thing i would like to know is if i can burn regular cd's with the drive in addition to dvd's...

this question is directed to people who purchased the model with the dvd-rw drive and not the cd-rw/dvd combo drive. sonystyle.com seems to have very little info as far as i can tell regarding the exact specs on the optical drives that ship with the system.

    thanks greatly in advance
