How is he able to sell notebooks substantially cheaper than on the official site?

Where he gets them from?

 

i think he has connection to a warehouse. so u skip the middle man and his share and straight to the consumer. im assuming

They are shipped directly out of a warehouse. I hope they are not refurbished! This one came in a sealed sony box with all the paperwork, warranty etc.

 

Pretty sure that was a joke. The units are shipped directly from an authorized Sony reseller, brand new and factory-sealed.

 

He does offer a good price but definitely NOT the best deal you could find for TZ. Not to mention the time it takes from him to ship your unit.

where could you find a better deal than colpic other than scouring craigslist and ebay for other sellers that may have little to no seller feedback? Im in the market for one.

 

I am not in the market to buy a TZ190 so I never pay any attention to their price. However, you will find Colpic doesn't have the lowest markup when you do a discount percentage calculation based an eBay deal for TZ150.

TZ190 sold by Colpic (600+ feedback) $2500, Retail $2999 = you get 17% discount

You really have to pay attention if you want get an awesome deal. Most cheap deal are sold with Buy it Now option. So it may only been listed for 5 mintues before someone clicked Buy it Now.

I am not saying Colpic sell overpriced TZ, in fact he does have good prices. But listing something without having it in stock, then order it for you once you paid? Its not a legit way to run a retail business.

 

that is my fear because I need the TZ for a trip coming up around december 10th and Im not sure if he can deliver it as fast cause there is no mention of time it takes for the notebook and Ive read posts that say it takes several weeks.

 

If you call Sony Style, you may be able to get it cheaper than they list on the website.

 

one member here spend an extra hundred to expediate the shipping and he got it less than a week i think. since ull be saving huge cash buying from him, just spend the extra hundred on shipping and ull have it by a week.

Chris said it would take 5-7 days for him to ship it out (after the payment).

Still a good deal.

(i wonder how cheap he gets them.. he sellls them for 15%-20% less and still needs to turn profit)

 

man, you people and your rich moneys. all of a sudden the 198 is purchase like they are some regular pc, i had to cut off a limb just to scrape enough for the 190 and thats the low end spectrum of the SSD class. u people and your 198 suck!!! lol
