This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Does sonystyle have a discount for college students? I can't seem to find anything on the site.

    I don't believe Sony does this. I've never heard from anyone, nor found that they gave discounts. It really sucks!

    I know for a fact that they don't do it in Europa, not sure about the USA though, but from what I managed to find out it doesn't seem like they do (I tried to get a student discount for my SZ).
    If you want a student discount that's actually worth something, head over either to Apple or Lenovo. And in Germany to a certain degree Samsung, but that offer seems to be Germany-only.

    I asked and asked and asked for a education/student/Gov. discount on the SZ160, SONY wouldn't give one to me (>_>)~sniff.
