Just wanted to post this again... know a few of you had issue with this as well:

I figured i would take a crack at trying to replace the ac adapter.

Instead of buying the kensington, i bought a targus (with the third prong for the ground)... and it worked. Plugged in and charging now and there is no electrical feedback on the metal palmrest at all! Not sure why it didnt work with the kensington.

I went to a science fair today, and simply by touching one hand to earth and another to some aluminium hooked up to a voltmeter, I was able to register a voltage of over 3v! Apparently, this is how lie detectors work. When u get asked an embarassing question, the voltage goes up even further. When turned to current, I was registering 1amp!

The iGo Juice I am using now with my SZ also is 3 prong - tip S12. I got this last year and used it with 2 other notebook as well.

I never had the sensation problem, but this may be another option.
