I'm looking to buy a vaio SVS15125PLB which has a Spanish keyboard. I'd like to replace the Spanish keyboard with an English keyboard and think that an English keyboard for any member of the vaio SVS1512 family will work. I'm specifically thinking of using an English keyboard for a SVS1512DCXB.

Am I right that any svs1512 English keyboard will be OK?

Also, where can I get a service manual for the SVS15125PLB so I can see how to change the keyboard?

    TIA.

About 8 months ago I converted a SVE from a South American back lit keyboard to a North American backlit keyboard and had difficulty locating a backlit with the proper ribbon cable length and location. Finally found one minus the back light material. To swap the keyboard I had to remove the keyboard cover frame by melting the retaining pins to separate the cover from the keyboard since the cover had tabs to hold the keyboard the laptop in different locations and sizes. Then I remove the back light material and reassembled. This problem was with the same model series. Good Luck with the installation
