got noname esata expresscard and it freezes my z590 every time I insert it. Did not find any executable drivers and windows freezes just as it shows that it sees the card and before I can point it to manufacturer cd. Not sure if it bad card or my XP missing some drivers after clean install. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I have SSD ExpressCard and it works fine.
You may have to check with other card to find out it is card or laptop or even OS problem.

My ExpressCard is 8GB Lexar SSD. However, device manager shows it is USB device.

Would you mind to tell me, if you can boot from your SSD?
I plan to by a Verbatim 32GB (expresscard) only to put Windows7 on...
