    Hi--

    Apologies if this question has been covered in another thread. Tried the search function, and couldn't find much to directly answer.

    I'm looking at buying an sz780. I'd like to run an external monitor at home. Will the 780's graphics card allow me to run the external monitor at 1600x1050 resolution, or will I be stuck with 1200x800 on a 22" screen.

    What kind of GPU does it have? Dedicated or IGP?

    It will most definitely allow that resolution. I am running that resolution on a GMA945 chip (which is very weak, power saving chip) so you should be more than fine.
