    external monitor resolution help

    Hey everyone. I got a Sony Fe890 (vista home premium installed). Anyway...on the keyboard there is a button that I could press that shifts the monitor from laptop to dual or to external only. (it is alt + f7 on my computer). Well the problem is every time when I push that button, and makes it onto my external only, the resolution is alway 1024 * 768 and not on the highest which is 1280 * 1024. Is there a way or a hack or something to make it change directly to that resolution without me going to change myself? Thanks.
