    after installing windows vista, i booted for the first time to find that the fn + f keys dont work :mad:! The brightness has gone down to its lowest and i cant really see the screen :(. All help is extremely appriciated.

    You should download and Install the ACPI driver from ASUS for Vista.They should be out already.
    Find your laptop at ASUS.com and go to downloads.

    Sorry for the mistake ;)
    You should download and Install the ACPI driver from Sony for Vista.They should be out already.
    Find your laptop at Sony support site and download ACPI drivers.
