    hi, I am in between 2 laptops of fz series:Which one you think is better?They look the same to me...

    They're pretty similar right enough.
    But looks like the FZ31s has a Blu-ray burner whereas the FZ21s only has a ROM. The 31s has a slightly bigger hard drive. It also has the T8100 vs the T7500. This thread discusses the two processors:

    i have the FZ21S...its a gret laptop, but obviously 31s is an upgrade, so go for it.

    Although i do notice the 21s has more L2 CACHE memory. 4mb rather than 3.
    But id rather have the blu-ray burner than the ROM. and the faster penryn chip.

    Damn if i waited 5months!

    Thank you very much for your replies will probably go for the 31s, probably the blu ray will take on dvds in a few months and a blu ray writer would be a smart choice.
