    Hi,

I tried running counter strike plus some other games on the TZ, and for some reason it doesn't want to run at fullscreen. Just a small window. I tried searching for an option to force fullscreen but can't find it. pls help. thx

If your game only supports standard 4:3 resolutions and you play it on a wide screen notebook you will have black space on either side of the screen unless the video drivers allow you to set a "stretch" mode.
This is similar to when you play a widescreen DVD on a standard TV but in this case the black parts are on top and bottom.

I have a 15.4 notebook with the Mobile Intel(R) 945 Express Chipset Family chipset and Windows Vista Home Premium.

A while ago I could run a couple games well in high quality (non-stretched) fullscreen...but most games that I wanted to play wouldn't run at all. so I went to the intel site and updated the driver...

And now all games run fine......Except nothing will go into fullscreen...

Giant bars of black not only on the sides but above and below as well...no matter what ingame graphics setting I use.

I would be fine if the black was only on the sides as someone said earlier...but its not.

I found a shortcut to stretch the screen, but I never use it because it forces everything into nasty quality...

As far as my intensive searches have taken me I have not found any way to fix this.

    Any Ideas?
