    Hi,
    Just wondering - if i mess up my registry (ex, delete something im not supposed to) and then i do the semi-clean restore thing, will my registry be back to new state?

    When you format and reinstall windows, you get a new registry. You don't need to do that just becasue you messed the registry - you can use system restore to go to an old save state, or you can download Tweak UI Powertoy (from Microsoft) and Repair the registry through that.
