I tried doing a search for this on the website but it kept timing out so sorry if this question has been asked before. But I was wondering if anyone has bought any generic batteries for their Sony S series laptop

I have found these two sites with some damn good prices for the extended battery (VGP-BPL2) so was wondering

the specs look the same as the one you buy from Sony but have never dealt with these guys before so was just wondering. Seem to find these batteries popping up also on Ebay

I just did a review on one of the generic Sony batteries, you might also want to check the company out.

Your article is what got me thinking about getting a generic battery. Unfortunately the site you listed does not list anything for a sony s series notebook. So I was wondering if anyone had tried any of these batteries
