    i like the FE alot, but the build date keeps shifting, a few days ago it said march so i was like w/e ill buy an asus, now the website says allow 3-5 days till build? are they for real now?

    I received my VAIO FE yesterday Feb 20. :D At first, I cound't believe I was holding a VAIO FE with an Intel Core Duo processor inside. I wasn't expecting it until like around March since they said that the production was starting at around Feb 20, then 5-7 to build + shipping time. It's very impresive though I noticed that the battery is kindda loose. I heard other people having the same problem. The LCD Screen is very bright and clear. Has anyone else received they FE?

    I didn't receive it yet
    but I ordered yesterday and it's under production right now :)
    estimated to be shipped two days later.

    if you want your FE now, make sure you don't add the built in camera (if you are getting from sony website that is)

    they don't have enough camera or is slow at putting those in, so
    your FE will be shipped april if you add camera to it

    the sales person confirmed that over the phone too :D

    Why do you say you should not add the camera? I was hoping to add it as a fun little feature, but if it's vastly out of stock...

    like I mentioned above...
    a few days ago when I was ordering my sony FE
    i got my first spec and took a look at it
    and it says estimated shipping = april 5th or something
    then I re-customized it with different setting
    then it says Feb. 23rd
    so I noticed that there must be some part that's causing the shipment to be delayed (which... camera was causing the delay)

    don't know if it answers your question but...
    yeah (i don't know if this is an issue with sony anymore tho)
