Recently whenever I unplug my adapter from the wall (While it's still connected to my laptop), or directly from my laptop, my screen starts to flicker from the normal screen to black. Not really a slow flicker but a vigorous flicker, but my laptop still functions normally. I have to turn off my laptop for the flickering to stop.

    Can anyone help? Please!

I just started having the EXACT same problem as of yesterday 8/1/07. I have a IBM Thinkpad T60. I can reconnect my powercable to stop the flickering.

    Sorry for the late reply!
I'm not sure if I've tried that.
Well I took out my battery and started to use my laptop with just the charger. I had to use my laptop with the battery one day so I put it back in, but after 30 minutes-ish it started to flicker again!
I was pretty set that it was a battery problem.
But then today, while my battery was out and my adapter was plugged, it started to flicker!
    It's so strange.
Is your flicker from black to the normal screen? But really fast.
