    help! cant uninstall sony utilites DLL

    For some reason I believe my sony utilities DLL installation is corrupt and I cant uninstall it anymore. I goto add/remove programs and go through the wizard but it doesnt disappear from the list. I cant reinstall it again either because it tries to uninstall.... help?

    Have you tried Safe mode?
    To try this reboot your computer and while its rebooting hit the F8 key repeatedly, it'll then boot a reduced functionality windows that should let you uninstall it.

    I actually deleted the registry entry for it, then reinstalling and uninstalling just be safe
