Microsoft Notebook Wireless Optical 3000, and before that, 20 other mice of different brands. Won't install on **** Vaio sz. i've tried all of it. there is no driver for it, there is only the microsoft intellipoint software, which cant detect the mouse itself.

under device manager there is an Unknown under mice and pointing devices, which is apparently installed and working. i'm assuming thats the touchpad. and then the Microsoft mouse is under Other Devices, and has a yellow exclamation mark on it, can't install it ibecause it cant find the software for it, even though i have intellipoint 5.5 installed.

i've tried it all. disabling the touchpad, disabling everything by sony, restarting, reconnecting, looking for drivers, please help. the mouse definately works because the optical light is on. but it cant install.
    please help!
