    help my SZ670 DVD does not work

    Hi,

    I just bought the SZ670 from sonystyle. The DVD room does not work, no dvd drive in my computer and the yellow ! in device manager?

    where can i download the driver? can someone help me?

    I uninstall click to DVD software, is this the culprit ? :)

    i deleted 2 entries from regedit it worked, i found the thread in this forum

    I paid $2500 for a laptop that does not work 100%, this is ridiculous

    I am willing to bet you a lunch that you installed some third party DVD burner software. If deleting the 2 entries fixed the issue, this is not because Microsoft or SONY installed them there. This is because another application erroneously installed them. You need to complain to the DVD burner software folks. This is a VERY common problem, and the more folks complain to the people who are causing this issue, the more likely we are to get this fixed.
