    Hi!

I see sometimes an horizontal black lines shadow in my new vaio T2XP.

I don't know if it is normal cause I saw it too in another one in a shop, but I don't see it in other models.

It seems maybe has a low refresh rate or something like that...

    Any one feel this problem?

I haven't seen anything like this on my T150. Can you describe the problem a little more?

well, i dont know how to describe it better, but one thing i do to check it is put this image as a mosaic wallpaper. If you do it and have the problem you will feel mad because it seems that the screen is like moving or something like that.

I agree the background looks a little strange on my lappy - probably because the design lines are interfering with the display rows. But I think you are seeing something else.

Sony posted an update to the video driver several months ago. I would have thought they would include the new driver with your PC, but you might want to go to their site and see if an update is available. I went looking because TurboTax wouldn't run. (A little strange, I agree). I noticed your option screen is a lot different than mine, which is what made me think of it.

Don't get the drivers from Intel, unless you are willing to give up Sony's zoom button.

There is another possibility - the refresh rate of 60 Hz works best for rooms where there is florescent lighting, because the florescent lights have a 60 Hz flicker. That is, assuming your local power grid is at 60Hz and your refresh rate is at 60 Hz. You can test this by turning off florescent lamps.
