So I installed Vista onto my laptop and now the sound will not work. Would anyone be so kind as to explain how I can re-install XP? I am not very computer literarate so I really need detailed instructions because I am afraid that I will mess something up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wouldn't it just be easier to reinstall the audio driver? Vice reinstalling an entire operating system...and maybe the audio driver then as well.
