    I have a laptop (GR 300) with the following config, how much could i sell it for?

    Intel pentium 3 M - 1Ghz
    512mb ram
    40 GB 5400 hdd
    cd/dvdrom (but doesnt work)
    14.1 inch SXGA
    modem stopped working 2 years ago
    battery life about 15minutes

    it is 4+ years old (got it in mid 2002), so how much can i expect ? :) . its hard to install windows xp without cdrom drive, i did it by network booting

    My suggestion is to keep it for a few more days. On Friday (or soon after) you might just see a trade in program from Sony that could let you trade it in for a $600 rebate with the purchase of a new VAIO...

    I don't have all the details, but I know it's coming....
