I've installed the microsoft intellipoint 5.2 software for my new notebook mouse yesterday but then today I realized the touchpad icon in the system tray is gone and I can no longer use the scroll function of hte touchpad.

DOes anyone know how to enable back touchpad?

    thx

I usually just use the touchpad driver to control the mouse and avoid installing any mouse driver. I guess it would not work if your mouse has tons of buttons or special functions, but it's worth trying if all else fail. [ ;)]
