    hi folks i am running windows 7, with my FZ38m one thing dont know how to get the FN buttons working to brighten the lcd etc..

    any ideas?

    also do you need a special driver for the lcd panel? its currently showing as a generic pnp one.

    Try this -- the guide here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=355715

    You'll need Sony Event Services installed, probably Firmware Extension Parser, also. You can get the drivers for a Vista install, and the extract the install files.

    Probably don't need a driver for the LCD panel.
