Hey if you can get a copy of a Vista DVD (I don't care how) then here are some possible options for installing a "clean install" of Vista.

    Drivers and Utilities
    Applications

If you actually want to make a Vista Disk, here you go but there are problems that come along with this path.

Hi, you can refer on your computer to... Start -> Help and Support -> Manuals & Specifications -> VAIO Recovery Center User Guide

and Start -> Help and Support -> Backup & Recovery

I haven't used the recovery features for a year now, so I don't remember the particulars, but it wasn't hard. Good luck, and I think there may be more threads at this website under the same topic - just use the search function.

You're welcome and thanks for the proton. When I made the recovery DVDs for my SZ670, it seemed awfully long before anything showed on the progress bar. And I was concerned, because it says something like, don't stop the process after it starts. Just have patience. I made the Recovery Disks, and the Windows PC Complete Backup.
