    how to restore the recovery partition back

    made a mistake to delete the recovery partition, how to restore the recovery partition back? any one can advise?

    I and using sony Z46 and have recovery disk backuped.

    if you didn't shrink/extend partitions after accidental deletion, you can try via Acronis Disk Director.

    well, if you have the recovery disk you can try to restore the partition from the disk. not to sure though if you will have to restore the whole system to factory setting

    You will need the recovery disc to do it. Using the recovery disc will wipe out all of your data , i.e., it reinstalls everything.

    I did this when I put a new (bigger) drive in my FZ. First I cloned my existing partitions (except the recovery one) to an external drive. Then I booted up my recovery DVD and did a full restore of the hard drive. This recreated the recovery partition and put it in EXACTLY the right place where the BIOS actually REQUIRES it to be. Then I restored my own partitions from the external drive, and rebooted.
