    how to restore vaio to factory condition ?

    hi fellas

    i got ( vaio , vgn-cr320e ) , i installed win xp

    but there is some files in the win xp cd are missing

    so i had to install a win vista ultimate ,

    ( what you have to know is : when i installed

    win xp , i chosed to format the hard drive )

    now when i press ( f10 ) on the win start up ,

    in vaio logo , some balck screen come in it

    ( load : c:windows/system32/winload )

    or some thing like this , so , i tryed to press on

    ( f8 , f11 , f12 ) , nothing helped ,

    what i want is to format the whole computer ,

    but , restore the factory sitting , like it is new ,

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    so , i hope that didnt delete the vaio orginial files

    pls help , help , help , my father is going to kill me

    after turn on your vaio and the VAIO logo appear , start f10 to go the vaio recovery system to return your vaio to factory condition

    You expect help in only 20 minutes? Have a little patience. Forum rules require you to wait 24 hours before bumping your own thread like that.

    If you hit the F10 key at a cold start and you do not get into the recovery tool, then you most likely hosed the hidden recovery partition when you formatted the hard drive. Let me guess, you also ignored the instructions that came with the VAIO to create a set of System Recovery DVD's when you first got the machine, right? If you didn't do that you have one choice left, call Sony support and buy a copy of the recovery DVD's at about $25-$30. And before you ask, no, no one here can send you a copy of the recovery dvd's. They are copyrighted software and any such request will warrant a visit from a moderator here and closing of the thread.
