    Does anybody know how to set the sony vaio z series back to manufactory's settings? My model is sony vaio vpcz212GX.

    Through VAIO Care, if you did not delete the recovery partition. If so, then there is no other way, then to do it manually by dl the drivers&software on sony support website.

    Thanks! I found the way to perform this recovery is by pressing Alt+F10 during the booting time.
