    Sony Vaio Vgn-cr320e
Graphics card is Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family

Intel shows update is available for it but when downloaded won't install and says to do it from manufacturer. Problem is Sony hasnt had an update for it since around 2008. Is there a way around this?

    thank you

You have to uninstall Sony's Intel video driver first before you install the Intel generic one.
