just a day ago, i tried to install Mac osx86 on my fe690p
unfortunately, while formating the HD for mac os, i ve accidentally format both of my C drive (vista) and the recovery partition.
now i got the Vista partition back (fortunately)
but the Vista was a clean install
my FE now is not Vaio @ all :(
though i already download all drivers and stuffs (for fe690p) from esupport.sony.com already.
particularly, i dont have stuff like Vaio Central ...
and much more important, i now aint have the Vaio original recovery partition
i m wondering if there is any way to get/ install / (or wateva) to have my Vaio recovery partition back

only way to recover it is to use the recovery cds if you made any if not then your SOL and you have to go through sony to get the cds

I am facing the same problem -- BUT.... Sony told me they are no longer providing recovery disks for these latest models --- something to do with licensing issues but it wasn't clear. They definitely do not have any listing on the websites to sell TZ recovery cds.

Please -- if anyone know where I can obtain the Sony original install (w/o Vista -- I have that) would you direct me there!

    Thanks!
