**** this is a must ****
i had an hp g60 couple months ago and sold it this is why:
-it was 16inch but the weight was too much for at times and it was bulky to move around in the library cubicles
- the cooling fan was irritating it would just sound like a vacuum and this was due to the excessive heat it would give off just idling when id be using it for video, browsing, etc it would get extremely hot
to sum it up i need something light weight but powerful but within my budget
**also just make comments on warranties im not sure if i should invest**
please help me and thank you in advance![]()

I currently own the Sony Vaio CS. And Although i don't have the optional Blu ray, i would say that this notebook would suit you well since it basically meets your criteria, it has a 14.1" screen which makes it portable enough and the weight isn't too much of an issue, in my personal opinion. The screen is one of the best on the market for the price (X-Brite Eco). The physical appearance of this notebook alone is worth the price, with an exquisite paint job and matching interior, since most color schemes only involve the Screen cover.

how about the sony SR series? It is a little bit over your budget but you'd get switchable graphis (Intel GM45 with ATI HD 4570 512MB). There is an hdmi port that allows you to output HD signal. It also only weighs 4.1 lbs so you can carry it more often.

Sony FW490. Check here.
It comes with ATI HD4650 graphics core so that should be able to handle Diablo3 and SC3 just fine I think.
