    HI.

i am about to install server 2008 (32 bit) on my z.
i am going to follow a guide and use some of the files someone uploaded from it, they are all for vista (32 bit).

sony in general does not release most of its drivers to download. i am doing this because my recovery partition (64 bit vista) is somehow botched.

vista drivers are generally compatible with the windows server 2008, at least as far as i know. but if you want 64 bit and you have a 64 bit recovery partition, i dont know how to help you, but someone can. the drivers can be extracted somehow. or maybe you should just try upgrading with your server 2008 install disk.

that aside, i dont know if xp drivers are compatible with server 2003, but they probably are, and i believe sony does have the full set of them available for download.

the guide im going to use is somewhere in this subforum, ill be doing it tomorrow if you want to go with 2008 32 ill throw you the links and see if we can work through it somewhat simultaneously if there are any problems.

I have tried both 2003 and 2008 (both 32-bit). Used XP drivers for 2003, and Vista drivers for 2008. The only problem was the card reader (memory stick reader and SD card reader). Everything else works fine.

I have 2008 R2 RTM and using the same procedure as the Win7 installation. No issues.

How is it possible to adjust brightness while using 9300M GS under Win7/08 R2?
