hello, i have sony vaio, my partition died.
i entered OEM cd of windows xp, and started the setup

    erased my damaged partitions
    set new ones
    fully formated
window installed using my license's key.

after windows starts up, it says i need to activate, when i try - it fails and says its not valid activation key.
when i try to contact my local Microsoft, they say they can't support me because its OEM and its from abroad. (i'm from israel)
and when i contact my local Sony, i been aware there is no such thing as "Sony" in israel.

so, i been googling for hours, and i found out those are the files i need for slipstreaming inside the OEM installation of windows xp:
(compressed as lays inside i386/installation folder: )
    DPCDLL.DL_
    OEMBIOS.BI_
    OEMBIOS.CA_
    OEMBIOS.DA_
    OEMBIOS.SI_
    OEMCOA.JP_
    OEMIG50.EX_
    OEMIGLIB.DL_
    OEMLOGO.GI_
    PIDGEN.DLL
    SETUPP.INI

any SONY VAIO with XP on it should have those in this exact form, or in this form:
    (not compressed: )
    DPCDLL.DLL
    OEMBIOS.BIN
    OEMBIOS.CAT
    OEMBIOS.DAT
    OEMBIOS.SIG
    OEMCOA.JPP
    OEMIG50.EXE
    OEMIGLIB.DLL
    OEMLOGO.GIF
    PIDGEN.DLL
    SETUPP.INI

i will be more then happy if anybody could send it to me.
i am truely lost , and this is basically my last resort.
i'm available in ANY communication you need me.
ftp. http. messenger. icq. irc. dcc. email. etc etc etc

thank you very much in advanced, and every information you can shed regards this scenario, will be very appreciated.

    Can't you just

    a) ask Sony for replacement disk
    b) find the restore partition

i dont have a "sony" entity in israel.
and i can't find the restore partition - the hd's partition failed,
been completely erased and been re-created and formated.

been trying to run a restoration utility, it barely restored anything from that hd.

i will appreciate if anybody could send me those files,
thank you very much in advance!

i forgot to mention - after i'll get the files - i'll host it on my website that way it will be available for everybody to download, currently its NO WHERE to be found.
so please, waste few seconds for collecting the files, and few minutes for uploading it to me, for the sake of everybody who wants a clean new windows install and dont have recovery resolution.

    thanks in advanced!

    well i'm pretty much disappointed.

nobody can spare 5 minutes for uploading those files ?
my request is so over-demanding ?
