Since it's too late to sell my FW160D (eco screen), I may sell it for a few hundred less than I bought it for to get a CTO with Hi Color. The CTO will have the exact same specs, except it will have a hi-color screen. I took away the 'Video Premium' software, so it would cost almost exactly the same as my 160D did. Is it worth losing two or three hundred to get the Hi Color?

It depends. Were you happy with the ECO screen?

Are you not happy with the Eco screen?

Does it bother you every time you use your computer? Or are you just curious about the HiColor screen?

The Eco is bothering me a bit. The viewing angles are really bothering me, it seems like I always gotta be moving my head to see a part of the screen properly. As well as being curious about the Hi Color (everyone saying how amazing it is), I do watch TONS of videos on my laptop, tons... Would it be worth it?

Hicolor does have better viewing angles, higher brightness, better colors and suffer less from reflection.

Do you usually put your ECO screen on the highest brightness and do you wish it was brighter? If so, hicolor might be worhtwhile.

Depends on you. Everyone will have a different opinion.

Me? I'd do it. I hate using a poor screen, and I use my computer all day, every day. I wouldn't be able to deal with it.

I once had a laptop with awful vertical viewing angles, and it drove me nuts. I just couldn't use it. Luckily I was within my 21 days to return it (Dell) so I did. I ordered the same computer with a better screen and I was MUCH happier.

    You? Again, it depends.

I think I may go for it, as long as I'm not going to lose THAT much money. It is starting to make me go a bit crazy, and I always get mega paranoid when I know theres something better that I could/should have got, haha.
